![]() ![]() This can happen due to internet problems, but there is no actual penalty attached to being pink, it's just a warning. If you see a ship with zero base EXP at the end, they were AFK the whole game. Going AFK is exactly what it sounds like: leaving the battle early, never getting into it in the first place, or just never doing anything while the battle goes on. Never fire a torpedo if there is a chance a friendly will take it. Swapping paint thankfully won't do it, but carelessly fired torpedoes will easily do it. With team damage, it takes a bit to trigger it. It can happen one of two ways: team damage, or being or going AFK. ![]() Okay, starting with your question about pink: It means the player has been warned about unsporting behavior. It doesn't really need to even have a bot opponent (in fact, probably better without) just targets to practice implementing training video techniques. In fact, they should consider doing something similar to the collision warning arc - Something "large" but not effecting color coding of various ships at all.Īs a footnote/PS, is there anywhere you can practice without interfering with "active" players? I'd really like to practice torpedo/aircraft/etc, but battles are just too busy, hectic and usually without enough slack time to practice a specific thing. I'm not color blind, but when shells are flying that damned pink comes across as Red when scanning for the next target. It would be nice if they chose a color other than anything Red related. To those I've hit really! I wasn't doing it on purpose!!įrom what I've found here (forum), though, the pink is something like a red-tag, right? Mainly, an ally with a caution issued? It doesn't indicate a special ship or convoy/task force leader? Sadly, while I see them on "my" side at the beginning, in the heat of battle pink is the new Red - read ENEMY! And, of course, I get slammed with a Kill or Ally violation. I keep seeing pink icons on the map and ships in view, but had no idea why. OK, so I'm relatively new (played a lot of battles, but without a training area each one is a hurley-burly span of chaos). ![]()
